Interstellar Essay Prompt
In a well-formed 5 paragraph essay, reflect on different physics concepts represented in the film Interstellar. Describe what aspects struck you as accurate and why, as well as what struck you as inaccurate and why. You will be graded on the correctness of your reasoning, your use of physics terms and concepts, and the clarity of your writing.

Here is the order for the presentations, beginning WEDNESDAY. As a reminder, when it is your turn, you must have:
  • Your annotated bibliography, with at least 3 sources (one of which is an academic journal)
  • Your visual aid
  • Any other notes, etc you need
Students that are not ready to present when their name is called will be moved to the end of the list and docked 25% of their final grade. Students will only be moved once.

Human Circuits – Reflection
Answer the following for 5 pts each:
  • How does the current change when two resistors are in parallel vs. when two resistors are in series? In your answer, describe what you noticed observing your peers acting as electrons or through your own electron experience. Relate these observations to electrons moving through a circuit.
  • How does increasing the resistance in a circuit comprised of two resistors in parallel differ from increasing the resistance in a circuit comprised of two resistors in series? In your answer, describe what you noticed observing your peers acting as electrons or through your own electron experience. Relate these observations to electrons moving through a circuit.
  • Explain why and how increasing the resistance of a single circuit element (ie, resistor) affects the current. In your answer, describe what you noticed observing your peers acting as electrons or through your own electron experience. Relate these observations to electrons moving through a circuit.
  • In the circuit below, how many different currents exist throughout the circuit? How can this be? In your answer, describe what you noticed observing your peers acting as electrons or through your own electron experience. Relate these observations to electrons moving through a circuit.

I know you are all hard at work on your TED talk videos (some of you are done!), but here is the assignment, if you can't seem to find yours
Remember, you can use your www.voki.com account to create the video, or you can create it through other means. See me for your log in. Use the Electric Charge PowerPoint as your starting place for information. Some additional Google-ing may be necessary. And if you forgot your topic, then let me know and I will get it to you!
